Cincinnati, Ohio-based Bon Secours Mercy Health has appointed Gabriel Bahala as CFO of Mercy Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital, according to a July 17 LinkedIn post. 

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health has appointed two physician leaders to key roles for the health system. 

It's been an active mid-July for hospital and health system CFO moves.

Providence COO Erik Wexler has been selected as the organization's next president and CEO, bringing with him more than three decades of healthcare experience.

After more than a decade as CEO of Carilion Clinic, Nancy Agee, MSN, will retire in September, the Roanoke, Va.-based system said in a July 17 news release. 

West Plains, Mo.-based Ozarks Healthcare has promoted its chief nursing officer, Lacey Carter, MSN, to the position of chief operating officer. She will serve in a dual role.

Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston, R.I., has named its interim chief medical officer to serve in the position permanently. It also has hired a chief nursing officer.

Paramus, N.J.-based Valley Health System has tapped K. Nadeem Ahmed, MD, as its new chief medical information officer. 

Isaiah Zirkle was named CEO of HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, an extension of HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, according to a LinkedIn post.

LCMC Health's Touro hospital in New Orleans has appointed Candace Stevens Robinson, MD, chief medical officer.

King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services has appointed Maria Zangardi as senior vice president, human resources and corporate officer, effective immediately. Ms. Zangardi will succeed Gerry Geckle, who is retiring.

Cincinnati, Ohio-based Bon Secours Mercy Health has tapped Victor Sprague as CFO of the Cincinnati-based Jewish Hospital and Mercy Kings Mills Hospital in Mason, Ohio, according to a July 16 LinkedIn post. 

Hunter Nostrant was named president of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. He will begin Sept. 1.

Tampa, Fla.-based HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital has named Ned Hill as CEO, according to a July 15 news release from HCA Healthcare.

Tory Shepherd was named market COO of Danville, Va.-based Sovah Health. She assumed the role July 1.

Chuck Mantooth, president and CEO of Boone, N.C.-based UNC Health Appalachian, will retire Jan. 1.

Heather Havericak was named CEO of Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla., according to a hospital news release shared with Becker's. 

Jennifer Savage, who had been serving as interim CEO of Warm Springs-based Montana State Hospital since January, is no longer a state employee, a spokesperson for the Department of Public Health and Human Services, confirmed to Becker's.
